Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Echo collects, how it is used, and how it is protected. We believe in transparency — read this before you participate.

Last updated: May 2026

1. Information we collect

Echo collects information necessary to operate the platform, process advertising cycles, and attribute commissions correctly. This includes:

  • Account information: name, email address, password (hashed), and phone number if provided
  • Business information: business name, website, product or offer description, category, and contact details (for business applicants)
  • Transaction data: deposit amounts, cycle IDs, campaign participation history, commission credits, and withdrawal requests
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration, and device or browser type
  • Attribution data: unique user advertisement addresses, click and impression data associated with your cycle
  • Communications: messages you send to Echo through contact forms or support channels

2. How we use your information

Echo uses collected information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform
  • Process deposits and deploy advertising cycles
  • Track attribution and credit commissions accurately
  • Communicate with you about your account, cycles, and results
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or policy violations
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations
  • Improve Echo's AI advertising models using aggregated, anonymized performance data

Echo does not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Third-party advertising platforms

Echo deploys advertising through third-party networks including Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). When your ad spend is deployed, these platforms process data in accordance with their own privacy policies. Echo shares only the minimum information necessary to run and track your campaign cycle.

You can review Meta's data practices at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

4. Tracking and attribution

Echo assigns each user a unique advertisement address and attribution pathway to individually track cycle performance and commission eligibility. This tracking is core to how Echo works and cannot be opted out of while using the Platform. Attribution data is used solely to measure real sales outcomes and credit commissions correctly.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Echo uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and analyze platform usage. You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings, but disabling certain cookies may affect Platform functionality.

6. Data sharing

Echo may share your information with:

  • Service providers: companies that help us operate the Platform (hosting, analytics, payment processing, email delivery) under strict confidentiality agreements
  • Advertising networks: third-party platforms used to deliver your ad cycle, limited to campaign operation only
  • Connected businesses: business partners may receive anonymized or aggregated campaign performance data relevant to their campaign — not your personal identity
  • Legal authorities: when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Echo or its users

7. Data retention

Echo retains your account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and for a period thereafter as required by applicable law or legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or preventing fraud). Attribution and cycle records are retained for audit and commission verification purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data subject to legal and operational constraints.

8. Security

Echo uses industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure. Echo cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data but will notify you of any breach affecting your personal information as required by applicable law.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including:

  • The right to access the personal information Echo holds about you
  • The right to correct inaccurate information
  • The right to request deletion of your personal data
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to object to certain processing activities

To exercise any of these rights, contact Echo through the contact page. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

10. Children's privacy

Echo is not directed at or intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. Echo does not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that a minor has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to this policy

Echo may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If changes are material, we will notify registered users by email. Continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
